Hurricane Volunteers

Over the past week, Bonnie and I had the privilege of volunteering with Samaritans Purse in Boone, NC, and later joined forces with Erica, Tim, and their three spirited kids in Banner Elk, NC, to assist a local organization.

The heart-wrenching stories from those impacted by the hurricane were a stark reminder of the challenges many face, yet amidst this adversity, we witnessed a beautiful display of compassion and unity. The Lord showed up!

People from all walks of life—Democrats and Republicans, young and old, Black, White, and Hispanic—came together with a shared purpose: to uplift those in need.
