God Pays For What He Births

If you have been following Josue’s story you know that he felt it was the Lord’s will for him to enroll in seminary. A number of weeks ago he began online courses through Gordon Conwell Seminary Charlotte Campus. By the end of January he will have his F1 Visa which will allow him to work and apply for scholarships.

The challenge has been to fund his first semester tuition, books and fees. So we prayed. Then Josue and I hit the road a number of weeks ago. We visited churches and individuals in four states. We shared the vision and the needs. We prayed and were prayed for. And all along we felt the Lord saying that Josue would graduate with no debt.

For that to happen we needed a few things.

We needed to raise $13,000 for Josue’s first semester tuitions and books. Remember that Josue will be working on a Masters of Theology as well completing his BS degree. We raised $15,000!

We needed to find free housing for Josue. He is now living with a wonderful retired couple in their upstairs suite in Trilogy, a resort community in Denver, NC.

We needed to find a car for free. He is using Bonnie’s nine year old Altima. And yes, she got a new car.
